Spare Some Time to Have Some Fun

It’s easy to participate in the Bowl For Kids’ Sake bowl-a-thon. Just put together a team of five bowlers(bowlers, can be friends, family, co-workers, or neighbors) to register to bowl on March 29th. You only have to bowl one game.  Each bowler is encouraged to raise at least $50 in pledges. However, the more money that you raise, the more prizes you can win. No matter what your score, you’ll be a winner in the eyes of kids who need a Big Brother or Big Sister.

You Can Make A Difference

By joining the hundreds of others who participate in Bowl For Kids’ Sake, you are helping to ensure that Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bridge continues the important mentoring work they’ve been performing since 1974. Our matches are effective because professional staff ensure that the relationships are safe and rewarding for everyone involved.   National research reveals that Littles are more likely to show positive behaviors in school and at home than children without a Big.

Our goal is to be able to provide a mentor to every child who needs and wants one. But the only way we will be able to reach this goal is with your help.  With the money you raised for Bowl for Kids Sake 2007, we were able to serve 1,350 children with Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteers. This year, you can help us match the 360 children who are still waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister.

To join the fun, please complete the registration form ASAP. Don’t forget to let us know where you want to bowl. Tell all your friends and co-workers about the Bowl-A-Thon and encourage them to form a team.

When we receive your completed registration form, we’ll send you all the information you need about collecting pledges and Bowl For Kids’ Sake.

 All teams must be pre-registered.
