Your support ensures that Big Brothers Big Sisters continues the important mentoring work that we've been performing in Northeast Pennsylvania since 1974. Research has proven that having a Big Brother or Big Sister helps children avoid drug and alcohol abuse, do better in school, get along with others and gain self-confidence.

For about $1,200 a year, we can match a Big Brother, Big Sister or couple to a child for one year. Your support allows us to recruit, screen, train and match Big Brothers and Big Sisters with the children on the waiting list.

Your gifts support the "Bigs" and "Littles" of the program. No matter how large or small, your contribution makes a difference. Your gift can be made in many different forms including the following:
